The 25 Greatest Tag Teams of All Time part 1

For those who don't know, I am a huge wrestling fan. When I am not watching wrestling I am either listening to a wrestling related podcast or playing a game of Total Extreme Wrestling. Now the only thing better than two men facing off against one another in the ring is to double things up and make it a tag team match! With that said, I am going to list the 25 Greatest Tag Teams of All Time! Now bear in mind most of this is my own opinion. Things like championships, headlining shows, and significant wins will be a factor but they will not be the ultimate deciding factor. Instead, the impact a team had on the era they wrestled in, the legacy they left behind, and the fondness they are remembered with shall be more import to this list. Another thing to note is this list will be kayfabe, so wrestling skill or lack thereof will not be a factor in placement on this list. Also, there will be a lot more older tag teams on this list as most of the modern teams have yet to make a legacy or leave any kind of impact on the sport. On a related note, any team that was not together for at least a year will not be included on this list. I am also more familiar with mainstream wrestling than I am with smaller promotions so there may not be as many ROH or CHIKARA teams as you may like on this list. Lastly, please be aware that I am not as familiar with wrestling outside of the US as I am with wrestling inside the US, so there may be a lack of foreign teams on this list. With that said, allow me to start off with the honorable mentions first.

Honorable Mention

The Mulkey Brothers: The Mulkeys, Bill and Randy, went on to have one of the longest documented losing streaks in the history of wrestling. A staggering 180 losses without achieving a single victory.
They became the epitome of the term underdog and fans clamored for a Mulkey Brothers victory. Eventually the Mulkeys did the impossible and won a match gaining entrance into the 1987 Crockett Cup!! Mulkey-Mania was in full swing, even if they never won another match. Despite being nothing more than a pair of jobbers the Mulkey Brothers were well respected by both the fans and their fellow wrestlers alike. In fact, to this day the Mulkeys are fondly remembered by southern wrestling fans, with many parents telling their legend to their children, keeping Mulkey-Mania alive to this day.
